Meanwhile, a Tonsorium is the original designation or name given for a barbershop back in the days of the Roman Empire. Back then, they were just called Tonsorial artists, and they plied their trade - you guessed it - in the Tonsorium. The Romans had a hard time being creative with their naming conventions, I know.
